Allen is Co-founder and Chairman of Japan Cloud and the Chairman and CEO of SunBridge. Allen has advised companies such as Salesforce Japan, and Concur Japan, and continues to advise our partner companies through board participation. Previously, Allen was a founding member of Oracle Japan. Allen has a degree in Computer Science and Asian Studies from Brigham Young University and is fluent in spoken and written Japanese.
Aruna is Co-Founder and CEO of Japan Cloud. He currently serves on the Japan boards of BlackLine, Braze, Coupa, nCino, New Relic, and WalkMe. He was previously on the Japan boards of Demandware, Kyriba, and Marketo. Prior to Japan Cloud, Aruna worked for Nokia in Tokyo and Beijing and for Deutsche Investment Banking in Tokyo and Sydney. Aruna has a BEng in Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management. He is fluent in spoken and written Japanese.
Yasu is a Partner at Japan Cloud and CEO of Japan Cloud Consulting and serves on the Japan boards of Apptio, Braze, Coupa, and nCino. Most recently, he was President of Marketo Asia Pacific & Japan. Prior to Marketo, Yasu led Salesforce Japan’s Commercial Business Unit for ten years and, before that, was with Oracle in the US and Japan. He has a degree from Waseda University and has completed the Management Program at Harvard Business School. Yasu’s book on growth strategies for enterprise cloud companies, The Model, is a bestseller in Japan.
Tomomi is responsible for overseeing partner entry strategy and financial modeling. Prior to Japan Cloud, Tomomi worked for a biotech start-up based in the US, taking the company public on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Prior to that, Tomomi was an investment analyst at Steel Partners, a researcher at Tokyo University, and an investment banker at JPMorgan. Tomomi graduated from Keio University.
Masa is Advisor to Japan Cloud and President and CEO of Concur Japan. Prior to Concur, he was a founding member of SAP Japan before moving to McKinsey & Company and then founding Better Place Japan, a company that had a vision of providing charging infrastructure to electric vehicles. Masa provides expertise in starting up and scaling software businesses. He has a law degree from Keio University.
Takashi is Advisor to Japan Cloud and Country Manager of Coupa Japan. Before taking up the leadership role at Coupa, Takashi was Senior Director of Consulting at Japan Cloud Consulting, the consulting platform of Japan Cloud and, prior to this, was VP of Marketing at Marketo, Senior Director at Salesforce, Senior Manager at Dell and Account Executive at NEC. Takashi is a Certified Professional Executive Coach and has a degree in economics from Chuo University.
Teppei is Director of Consulting at Japan Cloud Consulting and is responsible for helping our partner companies with GTM strategy and implementation of our playbooks. Prior to Japan Cloud, Teppei was a Value Consultant at Marketo and a senior manager for sales and marketing at Microsoft Japan. He was also a strategic consultant at Accenture and was involved in product marketing at Toshiba. Teppei has an MBA from Hitotsubashi University.
Shuji is Director of Consulting at Japan Cloud Consulting, and responsible for helping our partner companies with organizational strategy, talent acquisition and development. Prior to Japan Cloud, Shuji was Head of HR and Sales Enablement at Marketo and was Senior Manager of Sales Enablement at Salesforce.com. He was also a talent and organizational consultant at Accenture and Mercer. He has a degree in politics and economics from Waseda University.
Sachie is Senior Manager at Japan Cloud Consulting and leads PR and communications strategy for our partner companies. Sachie has over ten years of experience in the IT and cloud industries. Prior to Japan Cloud, Sachie was Senior Manager of PR at Marketo and was Senior Manager for PR and marketing at the Netyear Group. Sachie was also involved in corporate sales at AT&T. Sachie has a degree in Marine Engineering from Tokai University and is an accredited ship’s pilot.
Fumie is Executive Assistant at Japan Cloud and provides administrative support to our partner companies. Fumie has more than twenty years of experience in the IT industry. Prior to Japan Cloud, Fumie was at IBM Japan for over ten years. She has also worked in global travel and at an M&A law firm based in Tokyo.
